Class Information for Our Whole Lives (4-5)
Description
Oak Park Our Whole Lives provides holistic, comprehensive sexuality education to children in the community. As well as providing young people with honest, accurate, age-appropriate information, the classes provide space for young people to think through its implications for their own lives and decisions in a meaningful way. In this class, kids will discuss values, gender norms, sexual orientation, gender identity, the media, body image, the changes of puberty, feelings, attractions, and decisions, including peer pressure and consent. A Family Information Meeting on Monday, September 17, from 7-9pm at OP Main Library is required (see FAQs) for your child to participate in this program.
